Project X released its long awaited Titan line and trusted us to capture the excellence and high-performance nature of the product. Well-established in the golf industry, the product line’s breakthrough needed to be displayed with intensity and passion. Slo-mo, 360 rigs, and crash zooms were a few of the techniques we used to make that happen.

Templeton Olive Oil is located in one of the most beautiful parts of California. Their product represents every part of their values as a family farm and business. We traveled there as a team to help them tell their story and to produce a commercial that would help them to share their passion with the world.

Our client reached out to us with an idea: olympic medalist fencing athletes simulating a fight wearing a beautiful tuxedo and a gorgeous dress. In slo-mo. Our answer was to draw out a story around it, ground it, and make it beautiful through the use of 35mm motion picture film and slow motion. Nothing like 150fps on analog!

Visit Oceanside

Visit Oceanside wanted to immerse their viewer into the surf scene that takes place here (yes, Oceanside is our home base!). We used a sights & sounds approach to help the audience feel what it would be like to live and experience the scenery, the sea, and the culture around our beautiful beaches.

A one-shot / one-take concept brought to us by the client to launch a campaign related to the Cannes Lions festival. We built the set from scratch, wrote the script and conceptualized this spot from A to Z. Made in partnership with Amigo Productions.

An afternoon that doesn’t want to end, till it does. The brand wanted us to capture the feeling of wanting to get out. To escape. To chase the last light of the day while wanting to keep going. Our team executed this concept on motion picture film. Capturing the images was much like experiencing what was in the written page. Chasing every single last drop of light in the negative helped us to stay true to the vision.

The unique sentiment of being away from family to provide for them is a part of the sacrifice thousands of men and women make every day. We wanted to honor that effort through a simple concept: telling the story of a dad returning home to his daughter from a work trip. Shot on film on location in New York City.

Yellowstone

This Artist Series from Sackcloth & Ashes features the acclaimed show Yellowstone. We spent an afternoon with Jen Landon, who plays Teeter in the show, and built the story around the lost passion for the west and how that is being recovered today. It’s a piece we’re proud of because of the ability to highlight a product through excellent visuals and meaningful storytelling.
